    Hi All...

how can i pipe a "gpg -d file" output to sed?

i'm reading that this strips all html tags:

    sed 's/<[^>]*>//g' input.html > output.html

..but I want to send the output of a "gpg -d file" to accomplish a stripped down (no html) output.

    Simple:

    gpg -d file | sed 's/<[^>]*>//g' >output.txt

    Hello Wilfred!

how can i pipe a "gpg -d file" output to sed?

    Simple:

    gpg -d file | sed 's/<[^>]*>//g' >output.txt

Sorry. I failed to mention that I wanted to do this from Windows command line, and therefore Busybox would need to enter the equation.

    Meanwhile, I figured it out.

    type %1 | busybox sh -c "gpg -d | sed..."

busybox on windows... I have so many different questions, but I guess the first and foremost is how stable the implementation you're working with is, and where can I get it?

Yes but the lines are a tad too long for the likes of DOS-think. I managed to get the busybox I have to output to 80 characters by setting the terminal width to 80 charaters (tmux).

Anyhow thank you as now I know what would be possible.
