• Finding file command

From KrAAB@1:103/705 to All on Sun Jun 29 17:50:18 2025
I went to use the FIND command for files (default sync menu setup) and after I the text I am looking for the BBS crashes and closes. I am running 3.20d if
that matters. Not sure what the issue is and I dont get any error message. The BBS is running under Windows 10 (64bit) if that helps.

Can you paste a capture from the terminal?

I'm not able to reproduce the described issue in v3.20d on Vertrauen:

    þ Main þ 0:00:15 [1] Main [1] Notices: ;find
    Find: ljadf
Searching for message areas with 'ljadf'

It occurred to me, maybe you mean the find text in file descriptions command? That too seems to work fine for me in v3.20d:

    þ File þ 0:00:03 (1) Main (8) BBS Related: F

Find Text in File Descriptions (no wildcards)

Directory: BBS Related, Library: Main, or All: A

[û] Display extended file information? No

    Text to search for: LAJSDF

    File not found.

I will see if I can find anything in the terminal log for you. And yes, it was a FIND for text in file area.
