    For me, pressing enter without entering a keyword is what gets it to display the flashing "Aborted". I can put in a newline there. And it only shows "hit a key" once for me (I can't reproduce the double "hit a key"). Also, for me, if I press Ctrl-C, it doesn't display anything.
