Sure.. I kill MS Windows on the system, then install Linux.

Ah well.. at least my system rebooted "ok" today, that was something Lol

Ryzen CPU? Did it have a SDD boot drive? The PC I had as my /1031 PC had a
AMD Fx-8320e 8-core CPU and a 500gb SDD as a boot drive. I also wiped
Windows and installed Ubuntu 19.10. PC boots up in about 9 seconds. Haven't
had any problems that were PC related.

I don't remember offhand, that new system is eh.. resting in the other room

Ubuntu 19.10 installed on. Seems linux didn't like the fancy new bios or integated gaming video. But if I installed a PCI-E video card and turned
off a number of features in the bios then linux would install but would
run real slow. Changed the MB to a Asus and linux installed and runs just
fine.

That sounds good ... I'm glad you mentioned that. Next time I'm "of a mind" to play around with that devil, I may do the same <g>
