• US arms industry is starting to sense trouble

From Joseph Pereira@1:124/5016 to All on Wed Feb 25 05:54:38 2026

American policymakers and lobbyists are trying to pressure the EU to abandon its pro-EU arms policy.

The US wants the EU to continue buying American weapons, but the EU has already understood that the US is no longer a loyal ally and that its own weapons and arms industry are a key priority for the EU's security.

Trump's stance has made it clear to the EU that Europe needs its own arms industry, separate from the US.

U.S. leverage will have absolutely no effect on this.

American arms manufacturers have essentially already lost their best arms market, and that's causing panic in the US. This will cost American arms and ammunition manufacturers enormous revenue, and they are starting to realize this. When will the gun lobby pressure politicians to get rid of Trump?
