None at all. After all, the Second Amendment is a RIGHT! And
you know what that means - WE LOVE OUR GUNS!!!
Since they have background checks for guns, and if the work like they are supposed to (as opposed to being just a pain in the ass for law abiders), there should be no reason to do another check when it comes time to buy ammo for the already-background-checked gun.
As you know, there are loopholes. And those loopholes allow folks
who should never be able to get their hands on thoee weapons of mass destruction, much less the ammunition to mow down real people with,
is a crying shame. That is a part of what makes gun shows so popular.
Even a memtall-unstable kid in high school can get the guns and ammo
of his/her own choice to mow classmates and teachers away.
I see you have no problem with CA using racist laws to justify their new one. I am guessing you'd feel different, and probably be the one
pointing it out, if it were a "red" state that was doing it instead.
I live in Louisiana. The reddist of the red states. So red that
all statewide elected officials are red. As well as supermajorities
in both houses of the state legislature. And if that isn't enough,
do keep in mind that white Democrats in Louisiana are an endangered
species - but not covered by the Endangered Species Act.
The first thing the newly elected Republican governor did in the
state of Louisiana is create a hunting season for bear. The same kind
of bear Teddy Roosevelt loved so much. Naturally, the six remaining
Democrats did all they could to save the Louisiana Black Bear from
extinction, filing suit to save those Teddy Bears, but you know how
it is. The Obama-appointed judge gave in to the governor and hunting
season is on.
How if only Governor Landry and Donald Trump, Jr. kept on pretending
to be alligator hunters then Democrats would never have complained.
But hey. That is not what the GOP does, or how it thinks.
GOP thinks banning guns won't eliminate guns.
That is what you believe, same as the GOP.
GOP thinks banning abortions will eliminate abortions.
That is what you believe, same as the GOP.
Of course, the rest of us know the truth.
