I can help, I code in Pascal (different dialects) all day, even wrote
my own compiler, and currently developing a BBS, Tosser, Mailer and
Terminal program all written in Pascal... ;-)

Join the club, but learning Pascal might be working its way to the top of the todo list, with more time apent at home (though ham radio is doing well at taking up my time! :D ).

One issue I have is "which Pascal these days"? Free Pascal seems
the likely choice. What I used to know about Pascal was all done
on Turbo Pascal in DOS...

Need to do some research on how different FP is from the old TP...

I think the differences with FP depend on what units you include and how it's setup.

Yup, would love to have a place to learn, and send practice code to be evaluated. Kind of like the learn english echo. Is that what the intent of this is? I'd love some interactive activities to assist in the learning. My goal is specifically to make other languages such as Mystic's MPL, etc...
make more sense to me. I hear pascal is a good starting point. Am I right/wrong?
