I've kludged it with a Debian VM that forwards a telnet
connection inside my network so that the telnet connection isn't
exposed to the wild. You still have to log onto the BBS with
your normal credentials.

You need to make sure you have the cryptlib dll in the main directory
if using Windows. If on Linux then you need the libcl.so file from cryptlib 3.4.5 in your /usr/lib/ directory. Without that SSH will not work..
Al
... I have a really good memory, except it's short.

Ummmmm........... Huh?
I just got this to work, I went into /mystic/data and rm ssl.cert and
then restarted MIS and I can now use netrunner to ssh into mystic.

This isn't a mystic system. I'm using ssh just fine with Magiterm, Syncterm and ConnectBot, but not netrunner from a windows client with a Linux server. All of the rest of the SSH clients work with it, except Netrunner.
