  • Maximus/2 and Squish

    Hello All.

    System has been running under OS/2 for MANY, MANY years. Still fairly stable.
    I have a new Node that requires ARC as his default compression. I silly can't remember how to configure Squish to do that.

    Can anyone give me a method?

    COMPRESS.CFG contains the default ARC things, so if you have ARC2 in your path, then it should use it.

    then in SQUISH.CFG:

    Regrettably I can't find ARC2 *anywhere*. I do have original DOS ARC.
    Since Squish does run under OS/2, I don't think the DOS ARC will work, but I may be wrong.
