Sounds like you should get the year's worth of service instead of the 3
month service
I have thought about that.
double minutes, but they also roll over... currently I have 1628.30 on
my phone
I just checked and I have 8.55 GB of data available, 6764 in text and
2786 minutes (46 hours) in talk.
I seldom use data, unless something I need to know right away when a wifi signal isn't available. Those times I'm on and right off again.
One time I did the dumbest thing. Even for me.
I had recently gotten a phone with data (no wifi then, or at least on
that phone) and suddenly the data stopped working. I only used that to send violator photos to the office). No matter what I did I couldn't get it to work.
I called TracFone and they checked the phone remotely and couldn't find
out what the problem was. They said it could be defective and would replace it.
Had to send it in and wait for the new one and still had the same
problem.
I spoke to someone else who said, "Oh, all your data time is gone". DUH.
I brought more data, which I still am using, (something like $50 worth)
and that was several years ago. I replaced the replacement (a no name brand then) with a brand name phone (LG) and later with a iPhone SE which I'm
still using three or four years late
The LG had wifi and I got a free net account at the university (which I
am still using) since working there at the time after explaining why I wanted one. The woman who took my app wasn't happy with illegal parkers in HC
spaces either and glad we were taki
we primarily still use our landline for calling...
After I got my first cell, over 10 years ago, I dropped by land line.
Why pay $30+ a month for something I wasn't using?
When I called to cancel the woman asked why and I said I had gotten a
cell phone. Her reply was a sad "ok", which I'm sure she had heard many times.
I don't really use the browser function otherwise....
The only apps I use on a regular basis is the app store for updates
(weekly), the weather app and something else.
I use the browser sparingly. Mostly to just surf when bored and wifi available.
If the gov't listens in on my phone they are probably as bored as all get out. :)
Most of my conversations are around 0600 when my super calls saying the
woman at Bio Tech can't come in and my replying, with a sigh, I'll be there.
:)
I don't use the location services unless absolutely necessary. The last
time was on my trip.
That was mostly using a hot spot to get detailed directions with the cars
GPS then it was turned off again.
I don't carry the phone on me as a rule (but do at work) and it sits on
the desk unmoved for days on end.
... Been there, done that, tripped alarm, came here.
LOL
