The upgrade to x86_64-moosile-linux-gnu on the EuroPoint looks great from this angle and required no duct tape ... yet.  Here are the gory details that matter;

Note it is a development version and not a release.  However glibc-2.35 is only a month away and, as I predicted to Benny, glibc-2.34 ended up being skipped over.  In the meantime this partition will probably be the default root/boot system until then unless something ugly reveals itself.  I still have the previous partition in reserve.  :-)
