    Indeed, Kyivstar introduced IPv6 mobile internet, with severe bugs though, they use DS-lite and their DNS servers often resolve IPv4-only DNS into NAT64 (64:ff9b::) addresses... Using other DNS servers works, though.

    Are you sure it is DS-Lite? My understanding is that DS-Lite is only used on "fixed" networks and that mobile networks use IPv6 only with IPv4 via DNS64/NAT64.

    Kyivstar deploys both mobile and fixed networks do they?

    and their DNS servers often resolve IPv4-only DNS into NAT64
    (64:ff9b::) addresses...

    Which would be the usual way for IPv6 on;y mobile networks.

    Using other DNS servers works, though.

    Maybe they still need to iron out the theething problems.

    Cheers, Michiel

    Yes, because they assign IPv4 over NAT (with 192.0.0.4 local IP and 46.x.x.x external IP), so IPv4-only networks are accessible this way.

    Well, if they are actually providing IPv4 in form of DS-lite, they should resolve IPv4 hosts into their native IPv4.

    Hmmm.. That is indeed how DS-Lite works. I still find it strange.

    They should indeed. But the fact that they do not may be an indication that the situation is more complex than it looks at first sight.

    dhat mobile device do you use to see it? Smartphone?, router with SIM? Laptop with G4/G5 Dongle?

    It's smartphone, and I sometimes use it as backup internet for PC. Kyivstar's network is 4G.
