I want to make only one announcement of new files every X days.
How can I do that?
How can I make sure that only the files that arrived on my system
less than X days ago will be output?

Delay the htick and incoming file processing by X days.
htick will create new file announcements (if so configured) whenever you run "htick announce". So run that when you want the new files announced.
Hola All!
It has already become clear to me how to announce new files every
X days.
Now I am wondering if it is possible to configure the way to
advertise them. That is, whether or not I can put a header before the
ads and a footer at the end which I can configure

Delay the htick and incoming file processing by X days.
New files will arrive at your inbound and stay there until processed.
That will announce files that arrived during the X days.
