Keep in mind, this idea is not original for Ukraine, which got
the original idea from Fidonet sysops -
I was trying to find a sysop the other day and found out he had
passed on a few years ago. It made me think it might be nice to
have a Sysop Memorial Wall somewhere, we can list the sysop and
the BBS they ran.
Some years ago I already started something like that as a nodelist WD>addendum, remarkable people, giants in their own right. The ZCs at
that time decided against it concluding it was a breach of privacy
to which the next of kin might object. Just sayin'...
How can public information be a breech of privacy?
That can be a very private interpretation by an individual for
reasons we are not privy to.
See there? It is all Ward's fault. He is the one responsible for
having given Ukraine the bright idea to become the disseminator of
public information. And you know what that means -
I would not want to be the guy sitting across the table of
Vladimir Putin after he has seen those pictures of dead Russians.
