Since it is not legal to import kangaroo (dead or alive)
into the USA, I was wondering if it is worth the effort to
travel to Australia and have a serving of dinkum chili.
I am sure there must be some Australian sysops in this forum
who can comment on this matter. Or at least one Kiwi who
has visited the land of Oz. For those who do not know how

I think that many of those ingredients are made up and do not actually exist.
Macropod flesh is very low fat - I doubt that anyone would make a suitable bacon or ham.
Nor do I think there is much in the way of chilli grown at Mt Isa, nor in Tasmania.
