I hope so but if you don't look for another net or contact the RC in that area. If that fails contact the ZC and he will help get you situated.

I don't see 2:530/1 in the nodelist, but 2:530/0 is there and their mailer is responding.

Looks like Ulrich Schroeter is the NC for Net 530 and the RC for Region 56 so reach out to him at 2:530/0 or 2:56/0 and hopefully he'll get back to you.

I was afraid of something like that but 2:530/0 does have a mailer answering as Jay says and it looks like a net in need of a node(s).

I would send a netmail there to Ulrich Schroeter and I think you'll have better luck.

Yes.

The complete *C-structure was unreachable, not by modem, not by IP and there had not been a single nodelist update for over 5 years. There were no outside nodes which maintained viable contacts with then R53-nodes.

In short, R53 was dead.

If you wish to become a node, you can be accomodated in R56, the "catch all" region ...
