How is your local press reporting about Brian Laundrie? The case has
been so sensational, why would a foreign press be totally silent about
    it?

For instance, remember the case involving Amanda Knox? Surely Europe
made a fuss about it, so did the US but other countries really did not.
Is it that the press sometimes finds a case like that to be totally
irrelevant to a country, say, in Oceania? It might be pretty irrelevant indeed, but it's not like the press guides itself by relevance.

So I have been wondering --- what is the guiding principle there when
the news isn't anything too relevant to the press' business --- such as
    these typical crime cases?

    Thank you.

We get daily updates in Belgium. The reason for that is TV has permanent correspondents in the USA who report on US headline-items live an a nearly day by day basis.

So let me ask you a question. Do the names Sarah Everard, Sabina Nessa, Julie Van Uytsel and countless other slain young innocent women with their lives still ahead of them make the news overthere or are only American girls important enough?

The real issue being that so many females esperience violence just because they are female and unwilling to submit ..

I've been wondering why one single missing girl can be headline news for weeks and weeks.

Is she really more important than watching how your democracy is being dismantled before your very eyes (unless your only news source is Fox News)? If you know about gerrymandering, Electoral College and filibuster, why don't you do anything about it?

Is she really more important than why you've allowed corruption going so far, that you even no longer call bribes bribes but donations? Letting two senators prevent a long overdue *investment* in the US people rather than the usual *waste* on the 1% richest and the ever growing military?

Is she really more important than the fact that USA is the most infected country on the planet and therefore partly responsible for the COVID-19 virus mutating into more and more dangerous versions?

Maybe you should get your priorities straight and learn how to detect a deflection?

    Hello Bj”rn,

How is your local press reporting about Brian Laundrie? The case has
been so sensational, why would a foreign press be totally silent
    about
    it?

I've been wondering why one single missing girl can be headline news for weeks and weeks.

Because this is America, land of the free! And home of the brave!

Is she really more important than watching how your democracy is being dismantled before your very eyes (unless your only news source is Fox News)? If you know about gerrymandering, Electoral College and filibuster, why don't you do anything about it?

    No.

    No.

    No.

    deflection?

Getting your priorities straight. That is the one thing you got right.

It is not the fact that she was killed, but how she was killed. I mean,
there is a right way, and there is a wrong way. And it is very clear to
all that Brian was a very misguided soul.

A man in Texas had the right idea, having read the Bible all the time,
as well as having face to face conversations with God, by offering
human sacrifices to please the One who made him, admitting to at least
five (to the best of his recollection), all of whom he dismembered
    after sacrificing them -

See there? God told him to do it. So he did exactly as he was told.
What a great guy. Now that he has his own ticket to paradise, it is
up to others to get there on their own so they can join him in that
special place. I mean, like Peter Frampton, he has shown them the
    way.

We are not talking about another Jeffrey Dahmer, who ate his victims
after killing, dismembering, and freezing them for later consumption.

We are talking about a fellow who talked to God. Had regular
conversations, and did as he was told. Just like Moses.

The guy from Texas put the dismembered remains in a container, and
then into a dumpster outside a hotel. Where they were later found by authorities, who had no idea as to who they were.

Let me know when you find God. I am sure He will fill you in,
and then you will get with the program. And do exactly as you
have been told. Just like that guy in Texas.

Thanks. If a company isn't doing well, if it has cut down its
correspondents, for example, that could explain why they're not taking advantage of such opportunities. A case like that, if they don't cover
it too well, they probably can't profit much from it anyhow, so they
might as well *not* advertise the case so that a population will get
interested and consume the reporting from some other source.

Never heard of them. Your question doesn't apply because in the places
I've been considering, not american girls are being reported either.

The real issue being that so many females esperience violence just
because they are female and unwilling to submit ..

Just in case I didn't express myself well, I'm looking at the press
itself in some corners of the world and trying to explain a bit of their
    latest behavior.

    Thanks for the info.
