Hello all, what would be the recommended Binkp/Binkd software to use under DOS? I have been trying
this wonderful tool called Indigo - which converts the BlueWave and . REP files into FTN-style
packages, transforming BlueWave reader into a point system - but it doesn't have a suitable mailer.
I have been experimenting with Internet Rex, but would like to use an easier software - any
recommendations will be more than welcome

Thats pretty cool. I might be interested in something like that.

I use OpenXP on my WinXP-based system. OpenXP is a "console-based" system, but I am not sure if it can just operate in a pure DOS environment. I'll try to find out. Meanwhile, you see what it looks like with the Screenshots at https://openxp.kolico.ca
I have used OpenXP for a while, but unfortunately it can't be used for that. I needed a Binkp-compatible mailer, plain and simple
I thought that since you were "struggling" with converting QWK to FTN and needed a mailer, then an all-in-one solution like OpenXP would work.
But if you want to specifically build different parts and stitch them together as a working system, then power to you! :-)

It is great! If you want to give it a try, take a look at:

You will be able to download Indigo 0.01 from there.
