• BBBS Menus

    I want to make changes to the menu system, but I think my documentation is outdated.

    The instructions call for a file called commands.bbb, but my installation does not have a file by that name.

    Do I need to create one? Or get one from somewhere? Or is commands.bbb obsolete?

    Your documentation is as up to date as all of us. :)

    Yes, go ahead and create that file and it will be used. Here is an old commands.bbb I was using at one time. I was playing with this so keep that in mind.

    ;Command Menu Script, *bbbs_command or !os_command
    ;==================================================================
    ;
    ; alias "cd" commands:
    ;
    cd.. 4 *cd ..
    cd\ 4 *cd /
    cd/ 4 *cd /
    ;
    ; other BBBS commands:
    ;
    ;ACCess !,fsysop, 1 *>Al You have access!
    ;
    ; scripts:
    ;
    ; Command Configuration: commands.bbb
    ;Who 2 e!who
    ONEliners 2 oneliner
    ECommander !,fsysop 2 ec
    ;QUOTEs 2 quote

    You can read the what's new bulletin also bbbs/menus/bull1, it is full of good information.

    Thanks Al! I will mess around with it too. And thanks for the head up on the bulletin about menus too - I had no idea I'd find that kind of info in there. --- Renegade vY2Ka2
