    Everyone,

I have made the decision to merge region 14 with region 11 effective immediately.

RC11 Nicholas Boel will take over and examine/purge the deadwood.

Excellent! This should add about 2 valid nodes to R11. :-)

Meh, only 1 that is binkp capable. But if they haven't noticed his mail flow stoppage over the past months, they're obviously not paying attention. The second is only reachable via telnet, and is one of the former RCs many systems that maybe he forgot was still running. lol

Either way, if the nodelist police are watching, I've taken over as Interim NC for all of the nets that were in R14. Every unreachable node has been marked "Down". I will give them a month or so (or whenever I remember to go out of my way to check for activity again), and they will be removed. Once the net is empty, the net will be removed as well.

    Deadwood. uNF!

    Regards,
    Nick

    Haha! Ironic, but probably accurate.

Sounds like a great plan. I don't claim membership in the NP, but I like
a lean and correct nodelist as much as the next guy. I try to keep my
little piece of the pie (NC135) correct, and I appreciate you being
willing to clean up the garbage heap that (was) R14. Good luck!

    Regards,
    Dan
