    See above for type 1 uuid generated by the python oneliner on an android tablet. At the moment this is the best I can do. Offhand I think a bash based uuidgen/uuidparse would be better given the lack of a suitable util-linux android port.

    Can you do better on any of your android based devices?

    Same here except using util-linux's 'uuidgen -t', where -t triggers a type 1 time uuid. The other half of the problem is taken care of by uuidparse somewhat as follows (with your uuid);

    Note the microseconds in the rfc-3339 output. nanoseconds would be better but microseconds still will provide uniqueness ... for now. :::evil grin:::

    android kernels is imho possible to find in android-studio where developpers lives

    in termux you need full chroot of a android kernel imho, not just a termux sandbox

    and it all must be in a dd image in the termux
