Have attempted to take a look...but when I connect...always get PORTSCANNER DETECTED & get disconnected.

Am using MagiTerm. Have several other clients I can use if need be.

*** Quoting Jay Harris from a message to Ruben Figueroa ***

Now to figure out setting up netmail and compiling a nodelist,

    Anyone have any tips?

I know this message is about a year old, but how did you make out?

I just love replying to old messages it seems. I found that compiling a Version 6 nodelist with QNode and pointing Telegard at that allows for nodelist browsing to work. It even sees all zones/networks, so that's
    pretty cool! :)

    Here's the QNODE.CFG file I used:

    ADDR 1:229/664
    AKA 21:3/110
    AKA 618:500/23
    AKA 77:1/156

    COUNTRY 1

    NODELIST NODELIST
    NODELIST FSXNET
    NODELIST MICRONET
    NODELIST SCINET

    MAXBAUD 9600

    USES VERSION6
    USES INDEX

I had all of the nodelists unzipped in the current directory. I'll now see
if I can point it at some compressed nodelists and see what happens.

You can download QNODE207.zip from http://archives.thebbs.org/ra89c.htm

I haven't had success and dropped it for a while.
