Time print outs in logon list and programs such as scfg and uedit always seem to be displayed in UTC, no matter what I set the time zone to in scfg. Am I misconfiguring something? Thanks.

Works fine here. I just logged in with my test user and ;uedit shows
07/15/24 19:53 which is correct here in CDT.
If I use uedit from the shell, same thing.
Is your system set to UTC or a local timezone?

I have it set to MST in the scfg system menu.

Not what I asked, but ok.

Does date return MST (or MDT more accurately) or UTC?

Adjusting the timezone on my OS seems to have fixed it. Thanks.

Out of curiosity then, how does the timezone in the scfg relate?

Where Synchronet has the opportunity to communicate or adjust for local time zone, that is the time zone it will use.
