In the external editor configuration in SCFG, there is an option for
each editor that says "Word-wrap quoted text", where you can have
Synchronet wrap quote lines to a certain width (0 = terminal width).
I have that enabled for SlyEdit.

I'm also curious what version of Synchronet and SlyEdit you're using? I tried turning the word-wrap setting to "no" and replied to a few messages, and was able to see all the lines when quoting.

Were you in a narrow (<=80 column) terminal mode? Were you quoting messages that had long (>80 character) lines?

Yes, I was using an 80 column terminal. I'm actually not sure if the messages I was quoting had >80 character lines (I'm not sure if there's an easy way to tell that). The current version of SlyEdit does do some wrapping of quote lines to enable you to see all of them, which is why I was asking what version of SlyEdit he was using. A while ago, for some messages I'd only see the first line or two of quote lines in SlyEdit, and I had added some simple quote wrapping to help with that.

I enable raw I/O mode (using Ctrl-Z) which disables word/line-wrap when viewing messages, to check it.
