Can someone give me a idea on who is a free or cheap usenet news group
to join. I see plenty but they are all free for like one month or three
and then the 10.00 a month or a little less kicks in.

I use https://www.astraweb.com/. I paid $10 for 25GB back in 2018 and I have only used about 4GB of that.

I run a news server. You can sign up to my BBS and drop me a note you'd
like usenet access. I'll add a flag to your account and you'll be able
to use your favorite usenet client to access using your BBS
credentials. It's still in test so it'll be nice to have someone to
test with.

There's no binaries so you're have to get you pr0n from elsewhere tho :)
