    Hi all,

I'm sure some fellow sysops have moved from binkd to binkit and wondered if anyone has any advice or gotchyas I should know about?

While I've been happy using binkd, I think it would be good to use the integrated solution.

    Thanks,
    Nigel

I used to use Radius (for Windows) but I decided to move to BinkIt because it's a JS solution that comes with Synchronet, and I figured it would be good to use that since it would run in any environment where Synchronet runs. That definitely helped when I moved my BBS from Windows to Linux..

I thought BinkIt was actually very easy to set up. Since BinkIt is more integrated with Synchronet, it reads your FTN configuration from your sbbsecho configuration (and if you use TickIt to process TIC files, it has its own tickit.ini file). I thought it was fairly easy to get BinkIt set up and running.
