    Hi,

Although you are right that compression isn't that neccessary today, if the feature is available, it should work like in 3.18b, don't you think?
But as a workaround, I'll try that.

Btw, I've just deactivated using ZIP archives for my point entries in echocfg and now I can rescan IPV6 and get the lost messages.

    Thank you for this workaround!

But I guess I still found a bug...

Since my update to 3.19b yesterday, I think I'm missing some messages on my point system.

I noticed it, as the number of messages flowing in went down noticably.
And when logging into my BBS, I saw that someone answered me in the Fido echo IPV6 (on Jan 12), but that message did not appear on my point.

If I see this correctly, I should get 3 .pkt files, but in the final ZIPped file, only one can be found (see below).

I think you've discovered a bug in the libarchive integration in SBBSecho: it will always overwrite an existing bundle (archive, e.g. zip file) rather than adding a packet to it. A work around would be to have the point set their compression type to "None" (or you could make the change locally in your sbbsecho.ini file). I'll work a fix as well.
