    Hello folks,
    Just getting going with Synchronet.
    I hope I have got it setup right, so much has changed in 30 years :-P
    Closed my last BBS about 25 years ago and only recently rediscovered the BBS scene was still alive while explaining to some friends how much fun we had back in the days when anything above 9600baud was fast. They did not understand as they are so used to having gigabit links at home and 50+mbps in their pocket everywhere.
    I'm guessing that the days of fussing with AREXX scripting is long gone, or has someone resurrected it from the mists of time too?

    All the best de Hairy Paul, an old (new) sysop in S.W.Scotland. :-P

    Hello Hairy Paul;

    Welcome back to the BBS scene! Even old DOS doors still work with a little
    help here and there and are just as enjoyable as they were back in the day!

    I would suggest using the Wiki and reading what you need to know for what you are tweeking at the given moment. If you try to read too much at once it may overwhelm you - just my worthless 2 pence <G>
