• Error text_sec not found

From Weatherman@1:103/705 to All on Tue Feb 23 14:47:56 2021
Hey folks. Chasing down some error messages from my latest upgrade in
code. Most have been resolved by making symlinks to the needed files,
but this latest one apparently doesn't refer to an executable file. OS is
Linux, SBBS version 3.18 and the error is as below:

    Tue Feb 23 12:31:39 2021
term Node 1 <USERNAME> !ERROR 2 (No such file or directory) in exec.cpp
    line 794
    (exec_bin) executing "text_sec" access=0 info=module doesn't exist

I've been able to duplicate this by attempting to enter the general text files area off the main menu. Question here is... What is the format for the file "text_sec"?

    Thanks much!

    Regards,

    Sounds like you didn't git-update your run-time files (e.g. exec/*.js): https://wiki.synchro.net/install:dev#run-time_files

I'm pretty sure I didn't skip that step, but I'll double check to make sure. Thanks!

Thank you much sir! Seems that is exactly what the problem is. It all
worked great in my sandbox environment, but when I went live, I had problems. Must have gotten distracted or something when I went to upgrade the BBS for real. Thanks much!
