• Birthday List

From Mojo@1:103/705 to All on Wed Feb 17 12:57:54 2021
I added the birthday list to my system but I am not able to get it to show any birthday's day. Is there some instructions for the proper setup of this so I can make sure I have everything setup correctly.

    Thanks

When you run 'jsexec birthdaylist.js' (just as a test) does it report any birthdays?

If not, then, I guess resolve that problem first.

If yes, then setup an external program to run upon logon like so:

    Name Birthday List
    Internal Code BIRTHDAY
    Start-up Directory
    Command Line ?birthdaylist
    Clean-up Command Line
    Execution Cost None
    Access Requirements
    Execution Requirements
    Multiple Concurrent Users Yes
    Intercept I/O No
    Native Executable/Script Yes
Use Shell or New Context No
    Modify User Data No
    Execute on Event Logon, Only
    Pause After Execution Yes
    BBS Drop File Type None

I did this as a test like you suggested and it says zero birthdays. I looked and I show there is one for this month. So there must be something wrong on my system and that is why it is not working. Do I need to have some updated system files or something and that may be what is causing this?

    Thanks

I don't think so. The logic skils users with the 'Q' or 'G' restriction. Please feel free to mess around with load/birthdays.js and find the cause (add print statements or whatever you need).
