I'm having RMS flashbacks, stopping interviews, podcasts and panel discussions to "correct" people to call it GNU + Linux.
I'd call it Linux with a GNU kernel, myself. :)
LOL! I've been there!
Yeah, okay, if you really want to be that specific, it was originally called GNU + Linux. However, there's nothing that's completely
incorrect in what I said.
Find another target. I'm a Facebook veteran.
that's certainly not something to brag about
I wasn't bragging. I was trying to stop a troll, by pointing out that I've seen, and dealt with, far worse.
I stopped caring about Ubuntu when they stopped using Gnome. Now,
I give my love to Linux Mint...
Isn't Gnome still the default desktop on Ubuntu? Either way, I've
never really liked the default GUI on Gnome - It feels like it was
designed for a tablet. I liked classic Gnome (2.x, I believe)?.
Linux Mint has been my favorite distro for a while now. I
particularly like their Cinnamon UI, although I think their Xfce
edition is good too.
