Why are the version numbers different for Windows and Linux Synchronet BBS?
I upvote because I think I had something great to express myself with.
Aside, I was musing the other day -- would it be possible to launch Linux doors/xtrn programs from Win32 SBBS using WSL2 on the same machine? I'mAssuming it's in /mnt/c/sbbs/xtrn/doorname or similar...
not sure how the output would be piped to the user, but since Win now has
the ability to directly launch a linux kernal... that would be pretty
slick. I'm sure this is a naive assumption, tho :)
He may be falsely assuming that it causes his messages to be more likely to
be read, as it would on a social media platform.
but he's right. he's getting the attention he wants.
