I am "replying" to the specific encrypted message (to keep the thread link) ..but TB does not permit encrypted replies. :(

    It doesn't?

I was unable to send an encrypted reply between us in echomail.

Yes you were!? But you didn't sign this message...

BTW, If it *did* work, I wonder if that would be a violation of the
    echo rules. :(

Yes, but I think a onetime experiment should be ok.

Personally, I think this is neat (in echomail) but if anyone else were
to get no access to encrypted messages in echomail, being the messages
are just between a just a few people, then it may as well be via
email, and not be copied/echoed to multiple fidonet systems.

It defeats the purpose of echomail, so besides some experimentation, you should send encrypted echomail...

But thanks for proving that it can be done. I am not sure if I can duplicate success with another editor.

    You just did with @PID: OpenXP/5.0.42 (Win32). ;)

    Bye, Wilfred.

No, because it doesn't permit encrypted messages to newsgroups (nntp server). Which is quite ok.

I can see the logic behind that. ;)
