    Hi Folks,

I was ready to move everything over here to a new system, but there are errors on that _new_ system ... of course the company when contacted said, "We're down right now, try again another time" Lol... great, huh?

Anyway, if you need to contact me via email then please use jmklou@gmail.com.

    Thanks,
    Janis

Still trying to get through to the company, no doubt they're "up the creek" ... at least for right now.

Ah well.. at least my system rebooted "ok" today, that was something Lol

    Take care,

Ryzen CPU? Did it have a SDD boot drive? The PC I had as my /1031 PC had a
AMD Fx-8320e 8-core CPU and a 500gb SDD as a boot drive. I also wiped
Windows and installed Ubuntu 19.10. PC boots up in about 9 seconds. Haven't
had any problems that were PC related.

I'll have to take a look when I'm in the room where it's "sitting".. I don't remember to be honest... all I remember is, that system was a bust.. darnnit..

Maybe this weekend I'll just take the new drives out of it and stick these old drives in it.. got nothing to lose, that's for sure <g>

    Take care,

I had a PC that had a Gigabyte gaming motherboard that was a PITA to get
Ubuntu 19.10 installed on. Seems linux didn't like the fancy new bios or integated gaming video. But if I installed a PCI-E video card and turned
off a number of features in the bios then linux would install but would
run real slow. Changed the MB to a Asus and linux installed and runs just
    fine.

I do have a couple HP's and a Dell. Most of the PC's here I built from
    scratch using "Selected" parts.

That sounds good ... I'm glad you mentioned that. Next time I'm "of a mind" to play around with that devil, I may do the same <g>
