What else does Trump want to do? Stop aid to countries? Much of that
aid has already become extremely uncertain, often even halted. By
stopping USAID, he has essentially taken the bargaining chip off the
table before negotiations even started.
It also create a gap that China can fill - they're already increasing
humanitarian aid to countries that USAID is forced to abandon.
Another brilliant move from this master strategist. Apparently, he
didn't think that through.
