to the delight everyone.

Donald Trump never bothered to do much of anything about it,

He is the one that shows up on several video tapes as encouraging people to
do the things they did. Many believe him to be a federal plant, and many
at the protest were even caught on camera calling him a "Fed" while he
tried to get them to riot.

Since asking that question, I heard he got charged with a misdemeanor.
Since his role sure looks like that of a ring-leader, a misdemeanor does not seem harsh enough (unless he was a plant).

If I were a betting man, I would put money on "the charge quietly
disappears" or "he doesn't serve time."
