There is a Point software that work with Bluewave - the INDIGO 0.01
from Peter Karlson. I use then with IREX mailer on FIDONET and work
very fine with real Bluewave features. https://www.softwolves.pp.se/sw/software/
So, you have 3 programs? A tosser, then Indigo converts from pkt to bw
and vice versa? Then Bluewave acts as the reader/editor?

Maybe it was developed for systems that did not have BW/QWK
capability at first, and this was a way to allow feeding PKTs
to regular users who could then settle with a favorite BW
    offline reader?

    Yep! :-)
IREX (mailer) <-> INDIGO (pkt/bw converter) <-> BlueWave
(reader/writer). Or with another mailer than IREX.

I mean, it's no different zi suppose than something like other
point setups I've seen mentioned, just Bluewave for your reader.
I'm not sure why I'm surprised at 3 programs.
Yeah not unlike my setup, hpt, binkd and golded it really only
matters how well they work together and of course if its a pain in
    the ass to setup....

That's the million Dollar Question. How complicated is the setup.
