Just thought I'd mention that :)

That's why you need to be here.

The original message though was a bit vague on "how do I see/read my own messages". And then I come along and have no problem seeing my own
    messages (all because I did a Config/Options/Messages/Hold a l-o-n-g time ago).

Hi how to save/see the Sent messages at openxp?

openxp saves every message that you send, and identifies them with
your full name and a "+" next to the message.

    'scuse me :-)

The "+" indicator is only present in echomail messages if it's enabled in:
Config -> Options -> Messages -> Hold own messages

    It's disabled by default.

    cool, thanks for these tips!

Something you need to know about this is that the "+" indicator against your own echomail messages is not designed as an easy means of seeing your own echomail messages, it is designed to prevent OpenXP from deleting
    them.

Thanks . I searching for the "Sent" folder behavior like another mail
    clients

OXP doesn't have a Sent folder.

But you can search for any of your messages [1] per echo, or over your [2] entire echo collection.

If [1], just select the echo of interest, press <ENTER> to get the list of messages. Then, from the top menu, select Message/Search../User, and
    enter part of your name.

IF [2], just stay in the full Echolist view, and then from the top menu, select Message/Search../User, and enter part of your name - and it will search for your messages across all the echos.

It kind of a like dual function. It holds your messages automatically,
plus any that you marked Hold manually. :)

But it is probably best to just use the global S)earch by username.
