Finally on WinPoint Veleno BBS i managed to make the difference between the read and unread ones work on the list of messages of the areas. The function is active for all users, the only thing you need to do is customize your theme by adding the following line and then selecting it:

"COLOR MENU UNREAD <color> on <color>" example:
"COLOR MENU UNREAD Yellow on Red"

In the various themes already set, this option is not present.
If you have problems leave me a message.

I don't see an indicator anywhere which tells me which theme I'm
using. The theme editor menu always defaults to theme01 but how do I
know which theme I'm actually using?

    Regards,
    Martin

from the main menu go to: "9. settings" then "1. change Golded+ theme"
and find them the list of all the various themes with the number and name of the author, the number "26. By Customized User "is the one customized by you and you will have to select it. To customize it go to: "9. settings", "7. customize theme" and your theme will open with an editor, make all the necessary changes and save it. Remember once saved that you will have to restart Golded+ to make the changes you have made effective.

Fine, I understand that but before making any changes, I thought I would change the theme and then make changes to the new theme but I find that I can't do that. After selecting a different theme and then restarting
GoldED, the theme doesn't change. I've tried this numerous times and the theme never changes ??

    Regards,
    Martin

There was a problem in selecting themes from the transition to the custom one to the ones already set. In addition, the system now specifies which current theme you are in.

    Bye
