    Hello Martin!

The answer is in the GOLDED echo(msgid 5ebe5de2).

However, neither you nor I can implement the feature in our WebPoint
setup because we don't have access to our GoldED config file(s). This
can only be implemented by Thomas ..... are you listening Thomas?
    :-))

Hi Martin, I am trying to change in the configuration file "GEDCOLORxx.CFG" as the guide says by entering the entry:
"COLOR MENU UNREAD Cyan on Black"
but it seems that it is not taken into consideration and on new messages that arrive in areas by pressing the "L" key in the list there is no color change in new messages.
    Tips?

    Bye

You may have already seen this but my BossNode(Richard) has posted a
definitive solution to this problem: see msgid 5ecf80a1 in the GOLDED
    echo.

Thank you that worked perfectly! Is there a way to have golded default to message list view when you select an echo area, instead of just showing the next message? And in lieu of having to push "L"? Just curious...

Yes, add the following to your golded.cfg file .....

    MSGLISTFIRST Yes
