I just ran into a new situation with Winpoint.
I fired it up and kinckstarted the handy nodelist viewer via <F9>
When I started to enter the particulars for my search, the program kicked into "Waiting for Optimization to complete.." and bogged down my whole XP pc environment. Even Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the Task Manager was not responding as soon as I hoped it would. But after a few more attempts of C-A-D, I was able to kill the WinPointII.exe process.
But.. what did I just witness with the "Waiting..." ?
But.. what did I just witness with the "Waiting..." ?
I don't know because I've always had WinPoint's messagebase optimization feature disabled, sorry.

I'm looking around the settings and can't find that feature setting.
