    For some reason WinPoint just worked out of the box.

    Don't know what is wrong with it, but, it worked.

    Oh, have to check it for being a 64 bit app.,

    Well.. it *is* rather dated. The original release was 1996 which predates 64bit. Development stopped short of a years before 64bit was available in Windows.

    Take a look at my PROS/CONS between various point progs. WinPoint has the longest CONS. :(

    Have you ever looked at Terminate's point mailer? I really liked that mailer although it is an older DOS app that likely doesn't support telnet of binkp.

    It likely could be made to work with binkd or a BSO mailer but that may not be user friendly.

    I probably *did* try it back in the day. But I just ran through an installation and do not remember how fancy the install was.

    I obviously didn't stick with it as I went from running a Frontdoor/RBBS/ Waffle combination and then later to Remote Access.

    style messages.

    If there was a video that showed what TERMINATE looks like in operation
    and walked through its usage, that would be interesting.

    After the install, I did not get the impression that an unregistered
    version was crippled in any way. So, for the glutton for retro-
    experience, it may still be quite useable for the long run.

    But I reiterate, that some progs are better left to be memories.

    It's 32-Bit but it works ok on my Win10(1909)(x64) PC.
