Hi Paul,
In a message to Tommi Koivula you wrote:
It's a pity that SemPoint requires Windows. It was my favourite
editor all along. ;)
Yeah.. It needs 16-bit support to be exact.
Sempoint seems to be the most complete off-line reader that incorporates many echomail elements:
- switch from proportional spacing to fixed.
- taglines (stealing and randon implementation)
- JAM, Squish, MSG support.
- Bluewave, QWK (packet contents are added to a Squish/JAM/MSG msgbase as desired)
- mark special messages.
- quote settings
- nodelist lookup
- configure up to 9 external editors
- PGP support
- index-book (an Address-book of frequent netmail addresses)
- TIC and Hatch support when operating a point
And it utilizes the advantages of residing in a Windows environment:
- easy cut-n-paste/clipboard
- bold, italic, underline
- options to relocate the "speed bar" (place the shortcut menu of icons horizontally or vertically)
- "Fileboxes" to archive messages, like a local pastebin.
- comprehensive built-in Help.
- rearrange Areas list with move up/down in list.
- editor Undo.
..Regards,
AA
