Well, you will have trouble because GoldED+ *cannot* be used as an
external editor in OpenXP because GoldED+ does *NOT* support OpenXP's proprietary message base format.
I changed all the settings in the configure external tab.
And nothing, it skips over the editor when I try to post a message.
Can't seem to get the old one back.
Undo all the changes you made in the external editor config and see if
that brings the built-in message editor back.

My goal is to get rid of the control Page Down the switch betteen
messages in the orignal editor.

time ago.
