Or... Is it a Windows .exe file? Back in days long past, an older 'Write.exe' from Windows 3.xx might be used. Yes, this is wizard's stuff.

The trick is to change the text only, and for the same length of the string (i.e. number of characters). Followed by a simple "Save", only. Nothing fancy. I recall doing it at least once, last decade.

because not knowing what would happen if I selected one of the Servers, I sure didn't want to trash anyone's system =8-/

Yes fine but that doesn't actually fix the problem. It would have to be transplanted into the executable in the next release and the next and the next and the next, ad infinitum.

Normally, these sort of messages are in the plain ascii text resource
file(s) but for some unknown reason, this one didn't make it. If it had
have done, I would have been able to fix it.

Nope :(

When I selected a server, the action completed with an exit. So,
I don't know what was supposed to happen. I thought it would
scan all echos on a per/server basis. But the "Yes" selection
just quit abruptly.

Perhaps you could try it again and then look in DEBUGLOG.TXT to see if there's any clues in there.
