• Default node?

From Rick Smith@1:105/10.1 to All on Wed May 5 20:48:22 2021
    Greetings All!

Is there somewhere to set default node? I noticed sometime ago that my mystic always defaults to node 2,
doesnt cause any problems really, just curious if there is a reason for it?

    Hope everyone is well...

As far as I know you can't set a default node but what you can do is dictate the total number available that then are in turn called upon from the number you make available to the servers you opt to set up.

If when you telnet in to your BBS node 2 is always the first one reach, it sounds like node one may be busy and not available. Running something like nodespy and then selecting node one, then choose 'kill ghost' should clear it.

    Hope that helps.

    Best, Paul

Perhaps you only have a few avail nodes for servers to choose from? Could
that be it? James will be able to suggest some places to look I'm sure :)

Go into your data folder when no one is logged in and do a "ls -la chat1.dat" and see if it lists any files. If so, it should be deleted
