• SSH Error: Unable to set key (-2)

From Rich Lawrence@3:770/100 to All on Sat Aug 21 04:51:54 2021
    Hello all,

Running latest A47 build of Mystic on a Raspberry Pi 400.
When trying to connect to the BBS, I am getting the error "Unable to set key (-2)".

I reinstalled Cryptlib, but that didn't seem to help.

As a preface, I had a power outage that caused a kernel panic on my Pi3, that
I was running the BBS on. After trying to clear that up, I just did a fresh reinstall of Raspbian and restored a backup of the BBS on that.

Any thoughts or ideas of what is causing it?

    Thanks in advance.

I would take a look at the files in your Mystic folder structure and make sure they have the proper ownership. The version of Cryptlib would be good to know. Make sure you're not using the beta version of Cryptlib.

    ... I don't have the time for a hobby. I have a computer.

    All those checked out..

Whoop! There it is. I did a make clean and took it out, and then installed
3.43 per the wiki as I am on a Pi and didn't want to go through all of the troubleshooting again. Thank You Sir.

Glad that sorted it out. I don't know what is going on with the beta version but any version before it (I think 3.4.5 or something is the latest) seems to work fine. As soon as you install the Beta it breaks. I haven't had time to try to figure it out yet.

... I put a dollar in one of those change machines. Nothing changed.
