Guess someone was a little careless, and the SUV was just a bit top-heavy.... I'd guess just a one-car accident....

There are several car crash video sites on You Tube.
All to often when an SUV is involved in an accident they tend to tip
over or go belly up. In general sedans don't.

    No real surprise there....

My bottom line is avoiding hassles wherever possible... ;)

    Words to live by. :)

    That's what I figure... :)

I used the app on the road but the first two at home on the pc.
That was the main reason for my rushing about at first, knowing that
often if one doesn't check in by a certain time the room is rented to someone else. The reservations are made on line but p

(You ran off there, again.....) Generally if one makes a reservation
with a credit card they'll hold the room longer for you...

Mostly I just stopped at the first decent motel I came across.
Sometimes if near a big town or popular tourist site I would check
booking to find what was a available and prices.

    Wise...

    Funny event happened.
I was in Roswell, NM and booked a room about an hour before check
in. The clerk was rather suspicious for some reason.
My debit card has my first name, then Joe, then Mackey.
The clerk eyed me, then the cards (along with my drivers license
which is needed everywhere) and asked why there were different names on them. I told him that was me.
Why does this (debit card) read "Joe" and the license J? I said Joe
    is my middle name.
Again it was look at the cards, check my photo against my standing
there and again asked "Is this you?"
It was so funny with his questioning me in his East Indian accent.

Maybe he was more alien than you knew.... <G>

    Another strange thing happened often.
I would have to sign in on one of those screens and sometimes it
looked merely like a squiggly line, but it was always accepted. :)

The older technology screens often couldn't reproduce well... and no
matter how hard one tried, one couldn't get a proper signature... they
got used to just accepting it... I'm still surprised when I get a
screen that actually reproduces what I thought I wrote... :)

... I am positive that a definite maybe is probably in order.
