I got directions from them when I arrived in town and they said they

I drove down their street seeing no on any porch nor a house number on
    the mailbox at the driveway.
The street is sort of a huge U shape.
I stopped at a house with a guy on the porch who said Ed lived in the

    Nice picture of them you
sent.... even if it did come upside down again.... :) At least Daryl's picture was right side up... :)

That's because Daryl was standing on his head. :)
I don't know what it is with that iPhone. I can take picture A and be
fine, Picture B (phone in the same position) is upside down.
One Windows picture viewer they right side up, another Windows program
shows it upside down. Never had that problem with an android. Must be a iPhone "feature".

He forgot to remove his name when he took down the numbers. :)

When I got to Denver to see a friend there, he was at work, he acted like
I just stepped out of the room than several years since we last saw each
    other.
Now I have known James for years and we both have a strange sense of
    humour.
After visiting a couple of hours I said I had best be on the road and
sort of stood there a minute, figuring I would be asked to stay for dinner. He wished me well and returned to work.
    Several days passed.
I was in East Texas or western Louisiana and called a friend to say I
would be in his town around a certain time.
Then noticed I had missed a call from James so called him back.
He said his wife Karin was highly upset I hadn't been invited to stay for dinner, how rude, etc. and he wanted to apologize then added "but as I told Karin if he comes to dinner he'll stay on for several days". LOL

When I was in Syracuse I was shown the Destiny Mall. (I'm not a mall
    person but did enjoy it).
I found an Apple store and stopped in to find out why my text tone
    stopped worked.
The first guy swiped this way and that, pushed this and that button,
swiped again, had my host (who was standing by us) text me with the clerk saying
    it was working.
    Nothing.
He swiped this way and that, pushed buttons and still nothing.
He called over another clerk who did the same thing.
    Nothing.
He just handed the phone back to me saying I would have either data or
wifi on all the time, thanked me and walked away.
(I pay for data and wifi not always available).
So, I guess that's just another feature of that phone. :)
Oh, and it take a day before a text arrives and often get a undeliverable message when I send one.

Perhaps you should have hinted a bit broader that you could be persuaded
    to stay longer....?

Sounds like Karin was sorry not to have had the chance to see you,

    so... :)

I don't think I've been in there since it was renamed Destiny, but I've
heard that it's become quite a destination...

There seem to be quite a few "features" of that phone that I'd not at
all like to have... another reason for me not to get a smartphone,
    particularly not that one... :)

How unhelpful.... the reason for having a phone being communication...
