Yes. Full name would have shown up in the echos as "Vija Abolins".

I never got into that echo... I was very active (until it all moved to

I didn't realize that it "moved to the web". It still seems to be a fairly active fidonet echo from what I can tell.

I probably responded once I got home... ;) Perhaps that was in 2005 when I broke my ankle....?

Yes.. 2005 sounds about right. My fidonet journey ended in 2006, after my main pc crashed. All the echomail history is probably unrecoverable. I still have the original harddrive (but it is OS/2 format) Before the pc crashed, the harddrive was already making a lot of clicking noises.

That was convenient... :) And was the peach milkshake everything you
    expected it to be....? <G>

    <BELCH!> Excuse me...yep. :)

    Glad you enjoyed it... ;)

I trust you went back to be with your mom afterwards...? Hopefully
she was easily stabilized once she was at the hospital... :)

I visited her last Friday in the nursing home. With that patient in
the next area "hurling", I didn't want to go back there. I explained
that to her when I saw her last Friday.

Good that she was able to go back to the home... :)

With the stormy weather this week, I won't get to see her again
    until next week sometime.

I'm sure she'll be glad to see you whenever you can get there... :)
